I'll need around 16 sales to hit the target, like 1 sale every 2 days.
I'm actually working on this since 2 months.
1st month:
In the first month I learned about the service and built a website. Wrote content of the landing page myself and designed myself too. I got one client, got paid like $90. As I was starting I kept the prices low. But the client was unhappy with the work. I decided I've not enough skill to continue and stopped the project.
2nd month:
I acquired more skill from online courses, I read a lot of blogs on the subject, youtube, e.t.c. I know my copy wasn't good because it was my first time so I ordered the copy from fiverr, used a premium theme which gave my site a more professional look.
Current position:
I'm searching for 5 clients to whom I'll provide my service for free in exchange for a testimonial.
Problems I'm facing right now:
Location: I operate from my home in a third world country, I'm no company or a big agency with a registered address. The clients asks me where's your company based? Lol what to say?
Providing Access: Clients are not willing to give login details to the site. Lol how am I suppose to do any development work without logging into the site.
Trust: The above 2 problems is related to this, they don't trust me. Can't blame them, I don't have a registered business address, I'm living in a third world country. I got no testimonials, because I'm just starting.
I want to begin this journey by a quote which shall remind me not to give up along this journey:
